Inspired by John 3.16  /  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

I've been thinking about the fact that we are eternal beings... meaning our 'essence' / 'energy', who we are, our personality, gifts, etc., is going to live forever. 'Energy is neither created nor destroyed'... remember that from high school science class? The Bible teaches that when we take our last breath and our physical body dies, we will be immediately standing in front of a holy God to give an account for our life. Yikes. Good enough? Definitely NOT and we all know it. Thanks to Adam and Eve, we were all born sinful and rebellious little creatures which precludes us from being part of God's holy family.

So where's the JOY??? It's in a prayer of repentance to God ... admitting you're not that amazing and that you need HIM to show you the Way. The WAY is Jesus. The TRUTH is Jesus and LIFE is in Jesus ( John 14.1) Believe He is Lord, believe God raised Him from the dead. The Holy Spirit will come and live inside of you.

Your life will never be the same as He changes your heart, mind and life from the inside out. And when you stand before God after that last breath, Yeshua / Jesus will be there to say ... 'no problem, they're with Me ... welcome home'.

Get a Bible and read the book of John in the New Testament :)
